WELCOME TO THE 2024 ELECTORAL REGULATION FORUM

Hosted by Melbourne Law School, the Forum will bring together leading and emerging experts on the challenges of electoral regulation, management, and design.

As the flagship biennial event of the Electoral Regulation Research Network (ERRN), the Electoral Regulation Forum reflects three defining aspects of our nationwide network for Australia:

  • a commitment to examine significant, pressing and emerging topics concerning electoral regulation;

  • to do so through diverse expert perspectives, bringing together academic and practitioner communities; and

  • situating the issues affecting Australia in a global and comparative context.

The 2024 Forum will take place on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. On behalf of all those participating in the Forum, I wish to pay our respects to their elders past, present, and emerging.
